What are your favourite memories of vacations? (We call them holidays in England!).

    What have you got planned?

    What is a dream vacation?

Dream? Forum members locked up in a house by the lake and we stream our existence for a few weeks. Drinking, live reacting to music, having fun

    Best memories? I can't tell. :emoji_blush:

    Plans? Polish mountains this year

Not even a "staycation"? Holland is such a beautiful country you must be able to find a place you can spend a week and chill/party?

My dream is a "round the world" cruise. 3 months on a cruise ship literally sailing around the globe and visiting 30 different countries. Problem is, for 2 of us it will cost about £30k in today's money plus a onboard bill of probably another £10k. Saving up for retirement for that one!

I arrived to Mexico a week ago. My plan is to travel around the whole Yukatan peninsula. At the moment i am near Cancun , after Tulum and so on. Nowadays choice is not too big, Mexico is one of the countries where you still can travel without any restrictions :emoji_blush:

This thing of beauty has just arrived in Southampton, UK for her christening ceremony. I have the pleasure of sailing on her in a few months. Can't wait!

Our restrictions are different to yours and pretty much change weekly.
Most "vacation" like places we are allowed to visit at the moment are Portugal and Gibraltar.

Oh well, it'll go back to normal eventually.

When we were in Mexico we only stayed in the tourist areas. We had an all-inclusive resort in the Riveria Maya. But we did venture over to Chiczen Itza and done the other touristy things like Xel Ha, Tulum and Xcaret. Next time I'm there I want to take the ferry to Cozumel for the day.

Party not right now (corona) but yeah probably going to a beach or a weekend to amsterdam or smt when its a bit more open. Holland definitely has gr8 places I also been before. But I would love to see more of the world and I'm a huge fan of the spanish/latin culture. And no not just the women!

Cruise looks so cool to me as well but yeah money and time wise its a perfect thing to do when ur retired! My grandparents did a few too.

    What did I do

You and her are still young so there's plenty of time to visit! I was there only once in my life last year and at some point I wanted to yeet myself off the rocky cliff, cause walking 35 km wasn't cool at all, but views are beautiful, I think you'll love this + people in there are amazing, food is the bomb and beer is just fuego, I enjoyed my holidays there

    I worry about you sometimes!

One day I will end up in the Polish mountain area. The Mrs hasn't been there and she spent 25 years of her life growing up in Poland.

Favorite memories probably Miami and Costa Rica since it was so unique
Had gr8 times in Austria / Spain as well tho!

Nothing planned yet (corona) but if the world is back to normal would love to visit west coast (USA), Ireland, Norway/Sweden, Australia and go back to the carribean part of the world (Cuba, Costa Rica, latin america in general). And spain ofc.

Dream... I dunno if it can get better than the ones I already mentioned so more of that!
