    Although I sometimes find their reviews on point, it's no secret they are agenda-driven for better or worse. In retrospect anyone who gave a poor score to GRODT is utterly wrong as it became an essential album over the last couple years.

    anyway i think 2.8 for recovery is the reason i have no respect for pitchfork...since its obviously a click bait and to draw attention..thats a whor- move...and they did generate a lot of talk back then because of it

    i have no respect for such things

    They aren't a single uniform entity. You should hold individual writers accountable.

    by saying a review would be s--- even if it was well written, because you disagree with the rating.

    if you dont agree with the rating, all that means is that, at most, one aspect of the review is really off base (in your pov) -- but if the rest of it (you know the writing, the reasoning, the criticisms, etc) seems rational and fleshed out for the most part, how can it be a s--- review?
