Hey guys, I have a mid 2010 Macbook Pro. I've had it roughly for 5 years. Recently my hard drive crashed on it. So I had to replace it. I went to the store and they put in a new hard drive and also updated the Mac OS, as my system was using the previous iteration.

Anyways, now that I have my laptop I find when watching movies or streaming youtube videos the videos are constantly glitching or being laggy on me. Is there anyway to change this? You can certainly see how annoying this would be as every 5 seconds the video delays, the audio is fine but the video lags a little.

I remember hearing that the new Mac OS system was kind of s---, that's why I never update my old hard drive. However, with this new one being put in it was kind of forced upon....

If any help that'd be greatly appreciated.

Nm guys, things are running smoothly. Mods you can close thread as I couldn't delete it!

The os isn't s--- it's just not optimized for older computere
