Great album—I don't think Vince gets enough credit for switching his sound up between projects. Summertime 06 --> Big Fish Theory --> FM! --> Self-titled all have diff sounds and are all fantastic.

In terms of Vince, it’s a great album. The production is on the lofi end but compliments Vince’s state of mind and delivery on here. It’s the most personal Vince has gotten, and honestly there’s a lot to unpack on the tape. Not his best work, but it’s very solid. Shows how people grow out of old mindsets and evolve into different people, reflecting on the past.

And IDK, I just feel he never had a personality in his music. He always sounds like this or that person. The latest album has lame gimmicks and it “sounds like Kanye” without the fun of Kanye’s attitude and persona in the music. It’s just whatever. Tyler does the Kanye influence way better and has a giant personality to boot.

This is my fav vince project since summertime 06. Hes just floating all over this production. People will say its slow and not hard enough, but vince sounds so natural on this. I f--- with it a lot.

surprised at how low-fi this is sounding on first few listens. You'd think Kenny would amp it up but he's more in the background. I dont think its gonna be beating out FM! but really enjoying this so far

Album is a grower tbh. It's definitely a project you need to be in the mood for. Producton is A1

Hype to listen to this. Idk why y’all want some bloated a--- project. Yeah, maybe a little longer than 22 minutes would be nice, but who has time to listen to an album longer than like 40 mins these days

Got no problem with short projects, I absolutely prefer albums that run as long as they need to and aren’t bloated by unnecessary filler, just wish Vince dropped more regularly. He’ll drop a 20 minute project and then disappear for like three years. Always leaves me wanting more.

Yeah I guess. I said YEARS ago (when it became easy to pirate an album, before streaming) that artists should release their music for free and then charge more for gigs. We're not far off from that really with streaming.

Honestly a lot of it doesn't really make sense to me either lol. I have no idea how they came up with those numbers. And artists are doing stuff like making EPs out of their albums—like no new songs, literally just taking their album and chopping it up into multiple EPs in addition to the actual album and deluxe album like:

    Culture 3
    Culture 3 Deluxe
    Culture 3: Quavo's Way
    Culture 3: Offset's Way
    Culture 3: Takeoff's Way

My only problem is that I've been listening to the two singles on repeat, so the fact it's only 20 mins means I've already familiar with a large portion of the album before its released. Its like if a 1 hour album had six singles.
