I saw him twice in 2013 (once at the same festival I missed him at the year before, once for the Yeezus Tour), then I saw him at Bonnaroo in 2015, then for the d--- tour in 2017. So I def feel lucky to have seen him during every subsequent era. He did play some section.80 and OD stuff at the 2013 shows but of course they were GKMC heavy. Still great shows tho.Ordinary Joel, D12Shady, hargydon and 2 others like this.Nov 26, 2025(This ad goes away when signing up) -

Ah d---. Luckily most of the best experiences I’ve had at concerts have been from the small venue, less known (cheap) acts so I recommend starting small!
Hard work in America too that you’ve got to travel halfway across the planet just to get to a venue which increases expenses I suppose, something luckily I don’t have to deal with. I forget about that.Ordinary Joel, D12Shady, DKC and 1 other person like this. - Nov 26, 2025

I recall him doing a show at Southpaw in Brooklyn for this album. I think it was one of the last shows at Southpaw. It’s been about ten years. I have never been a fan of Kendrick but I do sort of regret not going. One of the last small shows before he blew up. Looking at this flyer, this was a typical, Indie show in NYC back then. YC ended up changing his name to Kemba. Nitty ended up working with Kendrick and supposedly dated him. Meka from 2DopeBoyz used to DJ a lot at these types of shows.

One of my number one concert regrets is not seeing kendrick during this era. I was going to a festival a couple months after this dropped and he was on right before Big Boi but my friend and I ended up skipping him. I'd heard him buzzin but I hadn't peeped any of his full albums yet.
I remember going back to school in the fall and doing my pre-semester music downloading I'd always do and being so bummed I skipped out after I heard this (and then OD and the KLEP).Ordinary Joel, Koke, D12Shady and 1 other person like this. -

Tech N9ne comes every year. Been a few times and got pissed on once. It was tight tbh.
Snoop passed through one time and it was legit Kmart.
Ran into Flavor Flav bowling one time in high school and we bowled a few rounds. It was f---ing hilarious. Guy is actually r-----ed.Ordinary Joel, hargydon and DKC like this. -

I was a bit too young to see him during this era but my sister saw him in Amsterdam in 10/11 and said it was insane - she's just a casual kendrick fan too.
I managed to see him twice in London (2013, 2017) and he was amazing. O.D and S80 are probably his most played projects by me. KLEP is dope too. Good times man
We really need some new Kendrick ffsDKC, Ordinary Joel and D12Shady like this. -
