    I've obvs been vocal about how lame I think Game is, BUT I have to give him credit for his joint on Compton, that's the hardest and hungriest I've ever heard him rap:

    Even as someone who doesn't like Game, "Hate it or Love" it is legit one of the best radio rap songs of all time (tho mostly due to 50 and Dre, but Game is cool on it). One of those songs that people always go crazy for and would still be a hit if it was released today.

    his albums fell off harddd though. glimmers of gold, but i'd label him as an okay rapper that had early shine, deflated quickly, and sporadically puts out something worth listening to these days.

    Yeah at the time people hated that they signed to G-Unit I remember. But Prodigy and 50 had a ton of respect for each other—I know I've mentioned this book a million times here but Prodigy's memoir has a big chunk about the 50/G-Unit days that are a super interesting look into that time period.

    He may not be lyrical, but I don't think you have to be lyrical to be a good rapper. My answer is obviously yes, he has good songs, bangers, and classic projects.



















    He also proved that he didn't need 50 or Dre, and went do his own thing, unlike the rest of G-Unit
