    I rarely hear this dude mentioned on the internet aside from some bay area journalists like Noz. Andre Nickatina (fka Dre Dog) is from Fillmore in SF and was one of the most prolific bay area rappers in the 90s/early 2000s. I wouldn't call it hyphy tho he's certainly dabbled in it before, he even did a tape with Mac Dre though it was unfortunately not released til after Mac's death. They had collabed before and were already been planning to do a tape together so I think it was handled pretty well as far as posthumous albums go (also when I saw him perform he told us he saw the ghost of Mac Dre on stage lol).

    He's super beloved all over the west coast and has been doing college tours up and down I-5 with the same hits for like 15 years at this point. He was immensely popular at my high school along with Bay Area rap in general—I'm not sure why but my assumption was always because it was the closest rap scene with real legs to Seattle.

    @Wreckless @Michael Myers @icecube if you're looking for good full albums I’d recommend I Hate You With A Passion (might be under his old name Dre Dog) and Conversation With A Devil in addition to the Mac Dre tape

    Literally don't use streaming at all. Only time I'm listening to music in reality is when I'm traveling or a couple of hours in the morning at work. Neither of these situations means I could use YouTube for music as I'll need my screen off in my pocket.

    I'm missing out on a lot of stuff I know but I can also keep myself up to date with the big drops.
