Dafoe l plays that unbelievably well. Making him so unlikeable yet a favourite.
loved this movie. Definitely going to see it again. Doc Ock and Tobey seeing each other again for the first time was icing on the cake for meLast edited: Dec 17, 2021Mothrfckr, asvdawg, The Product and 6 others like this. -

Although Tobey is my favorite Spidey, I would rather get The Amazing Spider-Man 3 than Spider-Man 4. Tobey had his closure, while Andrew's series ended prematurely because TASM2 flopped. Also, objectively speaking, Andrew is the best actor out of the three, but he never had the chance to reach his true potential because of the writing of the two TASM films.Mothrfckr, TheAQU4M4N, Ordinary Joel and 5 others like this. -

The satisfaction of watching Tom beat the dog s--- out of Dafoes goblin at the end on top of the broken shield was awesome & I’ll watch it in theaters 5 more times just for that part alone
Loved the scene in the beginning where sandman meets Peter & thinks it’s Tobey & was ready to fight electro by his side no question, idk why I didn’t expect them to give the characters that much depth or acknowledge their developments before the MCU but I didn’t
The really tense scene in the beginning after his identity is revealed where he grabs MJ & swings her to aunt May’s apartment is also something so satisfying I could watch it 100 times
really felt like Spider-Man 8 even while it capped off the high school trilogy pretty well
& I love how you don’t have to wait for the action, he’s fighting doc ock within like I wanna say it felt like 20 minutes it might’ve been the first 25 max but after that pheww
Matt’s scene was kinda wack to me besides catching the brick but even his line after that, the delivery at least was unfortunate. I really have no idea why they cut a court scene even if brief if they had one (supposedly was cut)
I’ve got nothing to say about Garfield’s Spider-Man that’s not already been said, he really got to be the star there towards the end, his mannerisms after exiting the portal & introducing himself were amazing.Last edited: Dec 17, 2021 -

So as some of you may or may not know, the third installment of Spider-Man in the MCU will reportedly be released in December this year, barring any delta covid delays.
At the very end of Far From Home, Peter Parker's identity is revealed. Doctor Strange will be in this movie, as will Doctor Octopus from Spider-Man 2 from 2004.
If the rumors are to be believed, No Way Home is going to not only be the third film in the MCU Spider-Man trilogy, but it is also going to be a live action Spider-Verse and a Sinister Six movie, consisting of Spider-Man villains from the multiverse - meaning from the previous five Spider-Man movies before the MCU debut of Tom Holland.
Jamie Foxx as Electro is also confirmed for the movie, although he will be yellow instead of blue where he seemingly evaporated - maybe they'll make it that he teleported to an alternate universe. Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, the legacy Spider-Men, have been heavily rumored to be in the movies but are not confirmed and have also denied being in it.
Alfred Molina has confirmed that he is playing the exact same version of the character as he did in 2004, and that his character's arc will pick up literally right from where it left off with him drowning (but not yet dead) in the river in Spider-Man 2. Green Goblin is rumored to be the main villain although Willem Dafoe has also not outright confirmed involvement in this movie. But he has implied that he has another movie coming out this year.
The latest rumor now is that the trailer will be released tomorrow, during CinemaCon. Might as well have a thread for the movie now.
edit: here it is

There’s flaws as to anything. But as far as fan service goes this movie was it. Seen it once but it may be my favorite spidey movie . There was just so much feels.
