Aug 31, 2021 Eminem has appeared on many iconic tracks, but he hasn’t rapped during a WWE entrance theme yet. John Cena’s theme song is instantly recognizable and the 16x World Champion wouldn’t mind having Marshall Mathers on the track. While talking to Esquire for a Q&A, John Cena listened to a fan-made remix of his “The Time is Now” WWE entrance music. That song was featured in the 2005 album “You Can’t See Me,” but Eminem wasn’t on the track. This fan version included Eminem, and Cena had to admit that he would love to have Slim Shady write a verse for his song. I would simply have him write a verse. Because he’s one of the most gifted, prolific poets I’ve ever had the chance to listen to. I think if you gave him this music rather than rehashing something he made for a specific beat, I would like to think he would completely put me to shame by giving it his own Eminem touch. So, Em, if you’re down to write some bars, borrow the track. It is a catchy tune. I don’t know, think about it. Mull it over, get back to me. Or don’t get back to me, whatever. Odds are Eminem won’t lay down a verse over John Cena’s entrance music. It is still a very entertaining thought, because Slim Shady brings a lot to the table and Cena’s WWE entrance music could use a shake-up. The good/bad news is that John Cena doesn’t show up in WWE much anymore to use that music.

Aug 31, 2021 Well, this actually might get interesting. Maybe, just maybe, Em might actually respond and even if it's not a verse, he can do something with Cena on WWE or something. But I doubt Em is a wrestling fan since for all those years, I haven't even seen him mentioning anything related to wrestling once.

Sep 1, 2021 This doesn't really mean he is interested in wrestling tho. It's Eminem. He is the king of namedrops. He rhymes every name possible lol. He probably heard the name before and decided to use it in a rhyme within a proper context. Hope I'm wrong tho. I'd want to see Em collab with Cena or WWE as a whole for a cameo or something like that.

Sep 2, 2021 He really needs a new theme song to retire with. Like The Hulk Hogan Voodoo Child resurgence is a great example of going way left with it too. It somehow worked. I remember the WWE 2002 Backlash highlights like it was yesterday because I was too broke to afford the d--- live PPV. Dammit, I was only 12. Couldn't convince Ma Dukes to order it. I was so bummed. Awesome PPV though.
