Sep 25, 2021 We always try to compare Eminem albums and rate them. Here is a more interesting game. If you had to erase one Eminem album from his discography, which one would it be? Like it never came out. I would definitely choose Revival, the worst album of all time. Encore/Relapse >>>>>
Sep 26, 2021 Would easily erase revival if you ignored that it was an album that was needed in order to get to where we're at now. Encore is a close second for sure I know it's not an option but re working MMLP2 and Recovery would be awesome as well s--- make devils night a solo album too.
Sep 26, 2021 Can't imagine an answer that's not Revival. After MMLP2 it was four years. Four long years of "what's next?" So many changes in the scene in that time. The last album left a lot of people wanting him to try something new, after hearing the same old s---. Radio producers making Imagine Dragons knockoffs, Call of Duty anthems, and songs that sample only the shittiest stuff out there, stuff you want to get away from when you hear it on the grocery store radio. Still had yet to even hear Eminem on a trap beat. So much great music coming out around him, so many great artists & producers and we weren't hearing a peep of him on any of it (aside from that one time he hopped on The Hills). There was the anticipation & speculation of "oh this Shady XV's gonna be his next album, it's gonna be a return to form", "oh this Southpaws gonna bring the old Slim Shady out of him", "this new feature should be awesome, can't wait to see what he's up to". And its just the same ol tired s--- time & again. When he announced Revival with the Campaign Speech & "line in the sand", there was finally something new coming out of him. But it f---in s----d. And then there was the first single, Walk on Water, a follow up on where he's been, showing some self awareness, except, well, the song f---in s----d. Makes Mumford & Sons sound exciting. And then the album finally came out in its full form and it was literally everything you'd hope it wouldn't be from start to finish. Four whole a--- years to get hit with that.
Sep 26, 2021 You don't know about that. And Recovery gave him majors hits that made him fresh again, just for this I'd rather erase revival
Sep 26, 2021 Also imagine erasing Revival. Failure of this album partially fixed him and there would be no Revival without Recovery.
Sep 26, 2021 I'm grateful for Revival, cause that sparked the era we're in right now. I think I'll go with Recovery too.
Sep 26, 2021 If he never dropped that album he would drop a different album in the same vein. Do you even use your brain?
Sep 26, 2021 You must feel powerful insulting others just because they don't agree with your opinion. How pathetic. The topic is "which album do you erase?" I erase Revival, because it's the worst Eminem album in every way. The end.
Sep 26, 2021 The thing is all albums after recovery are literally duplicates of recovery. Some are even worse like revival. Mmlp2 was a sellout thing. He made fans a little hope with the tittle and still f----- up with those commercial songs with a bunch of chicks singing on it. He made stan pt2 so the trash wwe white boys are somewhat happy.
