    Batman actually doing Detective work. That backstory has been pointless in every iteration apart from the games and finally this film. So looking forward to it, for that aspect alone.

    I think the way forward for DC is to go all out with how dark it can get. Try to connect one universe for it all too. This and The Joker seems to go hand in hand.

    Well I do, cause I knew where this was heading. Now they're having a black woman playing the character of a White man that was the ruler of Norway during the Middle Ages.

    Just saying people would not be happy with Sandra Bullock playing Serena Williams, well that movie wouldn't even get to the teaser stage cause it will be cancelled.

    And now they're doing the same thing to Lord Of The Rings tv show, they will have black hobbits and elves. This woke and diversity thing is good but you have to know when to use it and not ruin classics and historical s--- just so everyone can be happy.

    Neither is Detective Gordon, but the point still stands that casting a black actor to play a character of Scottish descent is absurd, and disrespectful to the original material. It could be excusable with the hobbits of the TLOTR, if done right, since some are described as being darker in complexion than others, but black elves would be flat-out perverse. Takes you right out of the story. Well, 'you' in the generic sense, referring to sensible people. This naturally doesn't include hopelessly raceblind boobs like you (at least when you're not making fun of me for looking Jewish, lmao, keep virtue signaling for cheap likes wigger).

    I was mad at the LOTR trilogy for not using actual hobbits and elves. Was even more disgusted when I found out Michael C Hall who plays Dexter, isn't an actual serial killer. It's like they're pretending to be someone they're not. Kind of like an actor which really bothers me. Imagine if they casted white people to play other races. That would never happen

    I like how you couldn't debate the male Norwegian ruler thats like a huge important piece in the history for those people and Netflix it's just pissing on their culture and history by casting a black woman to play him and you went straight to elves lol.

    I've never heard of that show and have no interest in watching it. I'm sure you and everyone else never heard of it either until you saw that headline.

    Didn't aired yet. It's a spin off of the original Vikings tv show where the series premiere drew six million viewers in the US alone, topping all broadcast networks among viewers aged 18 to 49 and the teaser alone for this spin off has 3.2mil views on youtube so I'm sure plenty of people have heard of it, however that was not the main point. I'm sure, at least history wise you've heard of Vikings.

    The point was that it is not normal to ruin such a beautiful piece of history with this "woke" bs and how if it was reversed the world would turn upside down. I mean do you see Jennifer Aniston playing Martin Luther King cause that is exactly what happened here if not worse than this.

    I do think it's stupid. Both a vikings show and them doing what they're doing. But again I'm not watching it so could care less. Let's not act like every Jesus movie ever made wasn't some white guy, Jake Gyllenhall as Prince of Persia, Johnny Depp as the Lone Ranger, Al Pacino playing a Puerto Rican. The list can go on. Don't like it, don't support it

    Some of those are as fictional as elves and hobbits, still not an example remotely close to this and you have to consider they didn't only change their race, they changed the gender as well even though women never fought during Vikings age let alone being the ruler of Norway.

    But I do understand your point, cause it has been done the other way around to some extent and that at the end of the day is entertainment not real life but still feels super wrong to me when you're doing it to history tv shows and you claim it will be historicaly accurate but I guess these are the days we're living in and we would have to deal with it or not support it and of course I won't even if LOTR is my favorite movie of all time and I'm very passionate about Vikings history I won't watch a single second of it.

    I still believe we will never have Julia Roberts playing Obama or Nikole Kidman playing Tiger Woods in a movie and people will treat with more seriousness and anger than just "Don't like it, don't support it"

    Vikings is not historical hahahahahah. Now you finally realize that Hollywood doesn't give a s--- about historical accuracy and choose to be upset but all the years before when they casted the same default caucasian actors to play for example ancient egyptians in Gods Of Egypt you probably didn't give a single s---. h--- I'm half egyptian and I don't even give a s--- because it's a stupid movie. Nothing more and nothing less. There are more important things you could be mad about.

    I really hope you're talking about the TV show lol. I know it is not completely accurate but that's what they claim: "We're incredibly accurate with the details of the 11th century."
    At the end of the day, I guess you're right if you put it this way.

    this movie is coming out on March the 1st in i-max theaters. i just bought a ticket for the march 1st showing and the only seats that hadn't already been purchased were the first two rows of the theatre lol and there's still a few weeks before it releases
