Apr 18, 2015Freestyle as often as you can. Just throw on a playlist of random beats and try to rap along. Be able to detect the beats in the song, that 1 2 3 4 rhythm. Different flows work with different tempos. You could even practice rapping to a metronome, that way you can keep your rhythm over different BPM (beats per minute) settings.

You should probably rap over the beat if you want to be on it.
Flows come with practice. Time spent imitating flows will translate (hopefully) to creating your own. So put some hours in and watch the progress come. Always over a beat. It will guide you.
