    I hate being someone to defend the kid, but pointing the racist finger without warrant is a real issue and further drives a wedge.

    No I think if you k--- multiple people you deserve to rot, especially if you're killing children. You also have the right to get mental health treatment but that doesn't change the fact that they murdered other kids.

    The prison system in the US isn’t a rehabilitation programme though, the focus is on punishment.

    The prison population alone has risen by 700% in the last 4 decades & crime has only decreased by 20%.

    They should take a leaf out of the Dutch system for example but there’s plenty worldwide that offer true rehabilitation programmes & prevention programmes through social care, USA lacks neither.
