what are they doing, though? far be it for me to defend fantano--he's a dolt who doesn't really grasp hip-hop--but you're saying that the only way a white person would like the "ignorant" "trap" music you hate is if they're pandering to black people. because only black people would like that stupid s---, right?

you...don't like unbiased criticism?

even if you meant "biased"--how is it biased? it's meaghan explaining (rightly) that barter 6 is a master class in rapping, in developing and perfecting unconventional flows and cadences, in meshing ad-libs in with writing, and on and on. she's reporting what happens on the record. THIS is the kind of pandering criticism you're talking about? she killed that review.

What makes the Yelawolf one "stupid and unfair" and the Barter 6 review (which was 10000% more uniformed and off base) tolerable? Because one is about an artist you like and the other isnt?

im mainly salty because you said you liked the barter 6 review despite the fact that he had something "positive" to say. as in, you would've liked it even more if it said NOTHING positive about the album -- meaning you actually dont give a f--- about objectivity, or good reviews, or ANYTHING
