    should i just listen to #COTI on repeat to at least solve the issue with hearing trash hip hop artists?

    Spotify’s auto play AI algorithm annoys the s--- out of me. I put on the Euphoria show soundtrack and after playing through, it went from this:

    To:

    I skipped that and it went to this:

    Yeah I’ve had similar problems, my playlists always show the same recommendations even after clearing them at the bottom, i just use Apple Music mostly now, save Spotify for when i want to share playlists etc.

    Spotify shuffle isn’t true shuffle neither & was specifically designed that way based off of accumulated data. i wish they’d just allow more customisation, would solve all the problems of more experienced users instead of making everyone adhere to the casual listener algorithm.

    My listening habit is maybe 50/50 hip hop vs alternative genres and yet it 100% of the time results in trash hop within a few tracks and I end up having to block artists.

    Apparently there’s no way to reset the algorithm. You have to create a new user.

    To h--- with that.

    anybody else? Know a way to mitigate?
