Chance the Rapper, Lido & Eryn Allen Kane) – Towkio ================================================================================================================ In this album I wanted to portray the feelings of the artist Costello (completely random name I thought sounded cool), mainly with the vibes and feeling you get from the songs. He starts off the album very depressed and angry at the world. The first 5 songs are either sad, mad, or both. They don't give off any vibes that would cause the listener to become joyful and feel good about him or herself, and that's what Costello was feeling at the time. Then, during track 5 & 6, he uses marijuana to escape his problems. These 2 songs are much more blissful and chill than the previous 5 and it shows the transition in Costello's feelings after the drug. From track 8-13, they progressively become brighter and much more joyful to listen to. He starts to feel good about himself after smoking weed (Can't Tell Me Nothing, Crooked Smile) and the overall tones to the songs are brighter. The album title and album art were chosen to follow the theme of the album. The "Fine Line" is referring to the weed and how it can change his mood from sad to happy very easily. The dark side on the album art represents his depressed state, the green (the "Fine Line") represents the weed, and the white represents, of course, his happy state. I included 2 versions to the album art. The minimalist approach and the one with text on the front to give it more of a gritty vibe and also to include the album title somewhere on it. ***Album art completely made by me***

May 14, 2015 Good job @CharlieWork, @Narsh, and @Im Broke! I think I'm gonna try to give other guys who expressed interest such as @VMO2, @ChanceTheRapper, @Chigzzer, @rapmusik, @LukeS80, @Peter Parker, and @Fazers til tonight to sign up. And @Final I'll add you to the OP.

May 14, 2015 Doesn't even have to be primarily rap. Interludes and or instrumentals can work well with these types of things. As long as it's hip-hop it's aight.
May 14, 2015 if you can bring back my last post il sign up but i didnt really read it properly so i wasnt thinking of a fictional rapper i just made a cd based on the london 2 the bay song.
May 14, 2015 I have a slight idea on one, I'll sort it out and post it later tonight. Hopefully no one takes my idea till then
May 14, 2015 @sindy just copy and past that into a new post, and be then the one thing you'll be missing is a summary if any story the album tells, if applicable. If there is no story just put N/A or something
