    I agree. Although I just listened a second time and I do like it a lot more than the first listen. The problems still stand but it is growing on me a bit like I thought it would. Die For You almost brought me to tears this time for some reason lol

    It’s actually impressive how he transitioned from such a goofy, edgy character to a serious singer. Not a lot of people could pull that off successfully.

    I’ve been watching those Filthy Frank/Pink Guy videos again lately. A lot of them are just edgy in the way only a teenager would find funny (which is what I was when I first saw the videos), but some of them are still genuinely funny. I lowkey wish that humor like that could still be popular today

    Yeah, some of it just isn't very funny as you get older, but there are def still some videos that are classics. Loser Reads Haters Comment #2 and p---- My Wheelchair come to mind

    p---- My Wheelchair is definitely one I was thinking of. I also love the loser reads hate comments videos from pretty much any YouTuber tbh. Btw I’ve been listening to Smithereens on my night drive and it’s hitting different. Also I just realized why the album is so short. Smithereens means small pieces

    Yeah, I really think using the popularity of Filthy Frank and Pink Guy to transition to a music career is something he wanted to do early on. Pretty smart actually

    Alright, I’ve listened to this album many times in various settings. I’ve had many hours to live with this album. My initial reaction was kind of negative, but I had a feeling the album would be a grower… I was right… it grew pretty quickly. Despite my problems with the project, I’ve grown to like it so much that I’m willing to look past those problems. Originally I was going to give this album a 6/10, but now I’m giving it a 9/10. I still wish the songs were longer/more complete, and I’m hoping next year he puts out an actual album rather than an EP/mixtape that’s called an album.
