May 16, 2015the 6th year anniversary of Relapse got me thinking about how incredible the relapse period was
i think eminem in this video is the absolute best eminem..
i said it before in other threads, he is at his natural comfort level spitting exactly what he wants to spit during this time period and he means every word.. the real slim shady, not the post recovery bs
i don't think anything will ever match this freestyle session .. eminem at rap god level before he became rap god
the second beat freestyle, microphone fiend, is my favorite eminem song of all time
i really think that video is A1 as f---..
even the interview is entertaining .. you can tell he is a different person.. his normal self

now for my question, if relapse had used this voice.. this non-accent voice
would people enjoy it more and consider relapse a gift from the heavens, the way i do?
the biggest complaint i hear about is that the accents make it unlistenable
now i completely disagree because i see the brilliance of it..
how he is able to bend words into an insane flow.. its ahead of its time tbh .. its what makes relapse, relapse
but a lot of people don't like it..
i know some complaints are the accent AND the subject matter/content but that second complaint is pure
because he's being himself.. he's being the closest thing to slim shady that you can get after a hiatus of his level
its just a weird complaint.. especially considering the music we get now.. however I'm trailing off
relapse haters, would you like relapse if he used the delivery/voice he used during this freestyle?
