    Collaborations, albums that should have come out at one time, and other similar things.

    Basically, things that could and in your opinion, should have been handled differently.

    I'll start:

    Jay Z & Future collab

    It's no secret that Jay is my favorite rapper. And Future is one of my favorites, even if I find a lot of his music very repetive. Especially production wise. However, at his best I like him a lot.
    When I heard they were gonna collab (Khaled made it happen of all people) I was pretty excited. Hearing them go bar for bar or trade verses, I was ready! But when it came out I was very dissappointed: Future didn't even have a verse and his hook was lazy and awful. Repeating the same sentence 15 times in a row, ugh. Jay was fine, and the beat was also kinda boring.

    Then we got... yes.. another one! Even with Beyoncé. Unfortunately, it was the same recipe. Very boring and repetive hook, no verse from Future.

    I doubt we get another, which is a bummer because I would have loved a classic collab.

    Kanye & Em - UTG remix

    For years Kanye and Em have had a huge fan.. well, stanbase. And still do. Everyone was hoping they would collab someday (like, an actual collab not production). Then, finally, it happens. Its a remix that didn't even feel like a collaboration. They simply remade the beat and put an Em verse on it. No ye verse, same hook. For the record I think ems verse was fine.. and I don't dislike the song.. but yeah this was not what I was hoping for.

    J Cole not putting Hov on Gods Gift

    Mr nice watch was... fine I guess. But when I heard Cole wanted him on Gods Gift, I would have loved to hear that. Wasted opportunity tbh.

    Nah. Em still rapping after 2003 is more accurate.

    Had he stopped after TES, we would have missed out on the 8 Mile soundtrack, his features on GRODT and the first 2 Green Lantern Invasion mixtapes.

    Game not getting a Jay-Z verse

    No Kanye and Drake album :hard:

    No Drake and Rosalía collab:hard:


    No Bruno and Weeknd collab

    No 50 and Rihanna collab back in the days :riwtf:

    Definitely not missed

    95% of their collabs are terrible due to their style being so different. Eminem spitting about gerbils in a--- holes does not mix well with hard gritty lyrics

    I feel like I'm almost always the only one in the room with this opinion. It's a solid album with undeniable classics like Killed Before, but I was def a little let down by it. Just think if it had been made in 2015. Could have been so much bigger and more experimental

    I think Super Slimey is good but not nearly as good as it should have been, it probably happened a couple years too late

    Dr Dre and Ice Cube - Helter Skelter. This was in the final stages back in the 90's and if it's anything like the song Natural Born Killaz then it would've been an undeniable classic.
