    I got over my pissy party and following a full refund from the cancellation, I made a last minute decision to put my now-cancelled ticket stub to the test and headed to the venue last night.

    I'm glad I did. It doesn't excuse the s--- show of the night before, but wayne brought his A game, apologized a couple times throughout the set, and nearly redeemed himself with the performance. His set was about an hour and a half and he ran through a wild ~40 tracks. Tons of energy. And it was a very intimate venue (only a 150ft x 50ft space), which made it pretty dope and easy to post up at a favorable spot, despite not arriving until later in the night.

    He was solo on stage throughout, but he took a breather for maybe 10 mins and 4 YM artists took the stage during that time to perform 1-2 tracks each: Lil Twist, Yaj Kader, Allan Cubas, & Jay Jones. Jay had the standout performance.

    i once went to a club here in philly where nicki’d been scheduled to perform at midnight. my girl finally demanded we leave at about 3:45. nicki walked in at 4… pic related it’s nicki in her car for 4 hours

    On Saturday (May 13), Weezy rolled into Los Angeles, California for a concert at The Wiltern Theatre in Koreatown — and for anyone who couldn’t make the show in person, it was being live-streamed for a $15 fee.

    Due to kick off at 9 p.m. PDT, Lil Wayne didn’t hit the stage until past 10 p.m — much to the disappointment of fans. “At the wiltern Los Angeles lil wayne concert. Supposed to go on at 9pm its 10:10 now and no lil wayne. Where he at??!” one person tweeted.

    When he did finally make it out, Wayne — who was donning a Kobe Bryant L.A. Lakers jersey, complete with purple and gold baseball cap and sparkly sunglasses — kicked off his set with “Mr. Carter,” taken from his 2008 Grammy Award-winning album, Tha Carter III.

    From there, the show seemed to go well for the New Orleans Hot Boy as he ran through his extensive catalogue, performing tracks like “Fireman,” “Hustler Musik,” “Drop the World,” “BM J.R.,” “Let the Built Build,” “I’m Single,” “Love Me,” “Lollipop” and more. He even brought out 2 Chainz for a performance of “Duffle Bag Boy.”

    In the middle of his set, Wayne left the stage for a brief intermission and left it up to his Young Money artists Lil Twist, Yaj Kader, and Allan Cubas to entertain the crowd. However, just as Cubas was about to perform his second track, Wayne walked back on stage, grabbed the microphone and told his artist it was time they wrapped up the show as he didn’t think they were getting enough love from the crowd.

    We appreciate it, but we ain’t about to be bending over backwards for these folks. We work too hard for this s---. We work way too hard,” Lil Wayne told Cubas before addressing the audience.

    “This my muthafuckin’ artist Allan, that was Twist, that was Yaj; we are Young Money. We appreciate y’all time,” he said. Wayne then set the mic down and signalled to his crew that it was time to go."

    I understand they work hard and want a good crowd, but this sounds really entitled. If you want a good reaction from the crowd, make them have that reaction.

    It's not even about the reaction he got.

    Man arrived 3 hours late to the show, performed for 30 minutes before going backstage for a break. Left his artists on stage to entertain the crowd but got upset by the lack of reaction they got.

    Imagine spending $500 on tickets for the artist to arrive hours late and leave in the middle of the set lol.

    I mean yeah, that’s part of making the crowd have a good reaction if you really want one lol. I don’t know why he expected a reaction when he puts a bunch of nobodies on stage who probably perform mediocre music
