First time I’ve seen this theory but yeah I could definitely see this happening. As you said, he loves double meanings & I’m certain he would slightly delay a release to aim for this date.

Not saying it’s going to happen, and I’m not expecting it at all, but historically he’s due an album right about now and this would be a pretty convenient time to drop it. So it wouldn’t surprise me.

Royce also said he’s thinking about his legacy for this album, so I guess that would fit nicely dropping it on hip-hop’s birthday…

I’d agree normally. But, ez is a re-release/ deluxe. And the song says “with” Eminem instead of “featuring” . Witch could mean the song is on both Eminem & ez mils album . Eminem also said at the end of the song “I’m sorry gen z you know I love you” and he’s never said that on someone else’s song . Also when he disses gen z he makes a reference of their age and the age of hip hop . Witch also ads to the aug 11th release date . Being hip hops 50th bday .

I see people guessing this. At first I was like nah, and the track doesn't seem to be for his album or both as only listed as FFP Records (who Ez is signed to) only on streaming...

*UPDATE - now says 'FFP Records in Association with Shady Records/Aftermath Entertainment*

But, I didn't realise it's the '50th Anniversary of Hip-Hop' on Aug 11th...

and Em is 50 years old..

(thas p wild too. That means Em was born 'when hip-hop was born' / even though nobody can say exactly when something started and like it's 1 moment lol. He will def mention or play with that.)

I can't imagine his double-meaning/pun-obsessed mind passing that opportunity up. He literally sits around all day f---ing jack--- o-- over 'omg this means this AND this'. Come on.

Now I'm imagining he's gonna make the album about his age; his place in hip-hop, being 50 years old in hip-hop, and then... hip-hop itself and celebrating that so no doubt endless listing of old school rappers he likes n various homages n s---.

Either that or some kind of Shady project. He may not base a whole solo album about it - perhaps some kind of 'Shady 3.0' type s--- lol to introduce Ez, plus some new solo s--- from him... and do all his hip-hop homage s--- on and try boost Grip and Westside Boogie more. Could be that too.

I always said it'd be lowkey genius for 50 Cent to make an album called '50' on his 50th bday. Imagine if 50's bday coincided with the anniversary too and he had a triple-entendre album.
