Aug 9, 2023 This was highly embarrassing from Melle Mel. I'm honestly struggling to think of a worst song from a rapper, let alone a diss track. Tbh it highlights how impressive the "old heads" like Nas, Jay Z, Busta Rhymes and even Eminem have been in recent years when you listen to this trash. This guy is apparently a God father of rap but it's crazy how dated and s--- he sounds. Absolutely delusional from Melle Mel to disrespect Em like he has done when this is his 'effort'.
Aug 9, 2023 The last project this guy dropped was 16 years ago. And if you look at his discography he really hasn't put out many projects in his career. All the rappers you listed have remained active over the years. Not to defend this clown since he probably always s----d, but if any of the guys you listed stepped away for 16 years and came back at 62 they'd sound like a--- too. Just 4 years between Encore-Relapse and Em wasn't even the same guy. Then you had another 4 year gap when he dropped the worst album of his career (Revival).

Aug 9, 2023 I still can’t get over the horrible production and beat. Like at least get a real producer in the studio to make listenable drums. This beat don’t even sound as good as the breaks, samples or scratches from the 70’s. Lmfao better samples on GarageBand or loops online. Like there ain’t no way a real beat maker was in the studio for this. And that’s just on the beat. The lyrics is another tragic display of rapping. I am honestly still shocked. Especially for someone who has been in the culture for 50 years. Like did he not learn anything about rebuttals or flips. No similes, no creative writing, no flow switches, no schemes, and no storyline or message to actually make the disses hit on an emotional level. Like this is literally high school level rapping. I’m not even kidding when I say this is an embarrassment.
