The Leimert Park native gave little warning to his fans that he would be dropping a follow-up to 2013’s Get Home Safely. Last month, he teased his self-titled album with the artwork, tracklist and gave listeners a taste with his single “2 Bad” featuring Bronx newcomer Tish Hyman. His third studio effort has him rocking the whole thing mostly solo except for “Fried Lobster” that has contributions from Bonic (formerly Boo Bonic).

"Thank u to all the people that pre ordered the album forever grateful by your show of faith," he wrote on Twitter. "Had a lot of time to figure out how I was gonna market this album decided instead to just make better rap songs. Play this one for the whole family."
