    Both a few of the best releases of 2014. J. Cole finally put out the album his fans knew he could and have been wanting for years, and YG put out an extremely surprising conceptual album full of west coast bangers.

    I listened to FHD more and liked it more, but I feel like a lot of people liked My Krazy Life better.

    It is hard to compare these since they are completely different albums. I listen to either one depending on the mood I am in. Honestly though, I haven't listened to FHD much since it came out other than Jan. 28th, I still listen to MKL a lot.

    I feel like FHD should also get some credit for having no features. You rarely see that and he did a good job of carrying the album on his own. A lot of MKL's features were great such as My n----- or ScHoolboy's feature on I Just Wanna Party.

    I agree @Soldier they are definitely very different. Only reason I wanted to compare them was that they are a few of the better releases from last year (probably behind Piñata and RTJ2)

    FHD easily. The Lyricism production and the narrative in FHD outshines My Krazy Life. Although My Krazy Life is a solid album in itself its essentially a watered down GKMC.

    It's a decent. I think it's the better "rap" album per say

    But I put FHD over it because I prefer relatibility and it's more enjoyable to listen to

    Sometimes I feel like the only reason I put 2014FHD over it is because it's so much more relatable and I have just always loved J. Cole's music. Possible bias there. I think MKL is the more enjoyable listen but I can't relate to the flocking and gangsta s--- that goes on throughout the album. I just love how the whole thing tells a story and puts you in the shoes of YG's g--- days. (I guess he's still in them lol, but now he became a famous rapper)

    Not to mention that the songs on MKL are some of the catchiest of last year IMO. (My n-----, Bicken Back Bein Bool)

    j. cole is a good producer and a mediocre writer/rapper. My Krazy Life is going to go down as a classic.
