    I think I’m ready for this. I’ve never properly owned a Nintendo console. I’ve only played on other people’s SNES, 3DS, Switch, and probably other consoles I’m forgetting about. I really wanna play Mario party with my Nintendo pals.

    Nintendo has been third wheeling it for the longest time in the console wars and have the audacity to raise the prices of these games? They finally put out a console that has decent specs for once and now they wanna act like the big dawg? What extra value will we be getting out of these games to justify the extra money spent?

    I mean h---, at this point GTA 6 might actually be $100. These rich, greedy corporations wanna nickel and dime the consumers who are already struggling with inflation on top of having a difficult time finding jobs that pay a livable wage. Who the h--- wants to spend an extra $10-$20 to see Donkey Kong’s monkey balls in 4K HDR 120fps?

    There's definitely a handful of remasters. I'd say switch has the best catalog since the ps2 though

    Switch 2 is confirmed to be backwards compatible. So people that missed out on the switch get the best of both worlds....

    Nobody buys Nintedo for graphics. Who gives a s--- about 3rd party games.

    It's the first party games that Nintendo demolishes the competition and why people will buy it.

    I’ve seen analysts say that $400 is the sweet spot for Nintendo, but that they could drive it up to $500 because they know people will still buy it. I don’t know though, that $100 difference could be what makes someone choose a Nintendo Switch 2 over a PlayStation 5.

    rumored to be more powerful than steam deck and also that ffVII remake + rebirth are coming to switch 2 which if true means it's capable of running at least some ps5 games

    Yeah I'd guess May or June. OG Switch was revealed in October and dropped in march, so 4-6 months after reveal seems likely.

    I wanna get this. Hopefully they fix the major stick drift problems the first one had. That’s one of the reasons I didn’t get the first switch.
