Answer this simple question:
"If you made a billion overnight, would your drive still be there"?
Dre has literally no motivation anymore. He's the richest rapper and one of the richest people ever. Those headphones basically killed producer Dre and created business Dre. Dre hasn't worked on a solid project since Relapse. He gave a couple old beats away for "Recovery", "Animal Ambition", and that Stat Quo project. The dude's name only shows up for "executive producer" on Aftermath projects nowadays. No production on MMLP2 or TPAB. And no, "LoveDragon" is not Dre for any Kdot fans out their. We know he's creating something for the NWA soundtrack, and he's working on the long delayed releases of "The Documentary 2" by The Game, and Jon Connors debut. But this dude is practically done. Don't hold your breath for any Em production on "Roots" or even Kendrick's future work. The dude will just go in, listen to a few tracks, maybe mix 1 or 2 tracks and leave. Why should he care what we think though? he can leave the rap game anytime and still be considered a legend by many. The fact he hasn't retired truly surprises me.WestSideboi, BART and VMO2 like this.(This ad goes away when signing up) -

Until my E.P comes out on iTunes there 5 studio releases I've done are on Soundcloud, I find it the best way the promote myself, oh and there's a couple on YouTube as well. It's hard keeping things on the internet when you're independent and not backed up by a label. The future is bright though!WestSideboi, Pablo and shadyslim555 like this. -

^ [2ChainzVoice] "TRUUUE!" [/]; still it'll be interesting to see whether Dre has any production on Em's next solo album (2016/17/whenever). I don't know many details of the "falling out" but I'd bet Dre will produce at least one track on EmsNextSolo. "To not see him with me would be a shocking image" said Eminem on 'Dont Front' off MMLP2. My logic/theory is that they somewhat fell out but also that Eminem's marketing team has a "big picture" view of how-each-album-can-be-freshly-different-from-each-other; they could be tryna position Dre as an Ace in their Deck so to speak.. Rick Rubin was the new influence on MMLP2; one can only hope a solo Em album with predominantly Dre production would naturally come sometime in the next 5-10 years--in which case, the less Dre produces for Em between 2011-16 the more "fresher" it'd be to have tons-of-Dre-production on a future Em solo record!?! Especially keeping in mind how the NWA Movie *could* bring Dre the rapper/producer back to the pop-culture limelight whereas new fans would wanna hear Em on new Dre production #InOtherUselessSpeculationcheah #hardtacosbro #hardAF(This ad goes away when signing up) -

Also, the guy has been in the game for like 30 years. That's 7 years before i even saw the light out of my mother's vagina.
He's nearly a billionaire with that deal he made with apple. I think he just doesn't care at this point. Or lacks the motivation to produce as much as he used to. Don't think it has anything to do with the relationship between him and Em to be honest.Pablo, Ordinary Joel and int like this. -
