Jun 16, 2015Both these rappers (I guess Thug is a rapper) incorporate fast food into their rhymes. Em fathered this style and Thug seems to have been biting it as of late. Who does it better?
Em
"They say I act like an a------, when I pull up at the White Castle
And I ask for an appli-cation, throw it back in their face and
Tell the b---- I’m a rapper, then I wrap her
In the head with a Whopper that I bought from BK
You expect me to be proper?"
"And they say McDonalds isn't a restaurant well I guess I'm wrong
But if you gonna tell me that the A&W ain't the spot for the best hot dogs you can get the "F" on dawn"
"So here's a penny for your thoughts but it won't buy you a cheeseburger although a nickle might just get you one pickle"
Thug
"Ate the b---- like a baconator"
"I want the M's and I'm not talking Micky D's"
Overall I think Eminem does a better job of incorporating cuisine into his writing, it seems effortless and compliments the multis and helps to paint a vivid picture to accompany his storytelling. Thug's lines on the other hands seem forced and lack that wow factor, they seem forced and lack any wit (as opposed to Em's).
What do you guys think?
