    a new lil wayne album, or at least something that resembles one, is out now. i won't listen to it. i have no desire to hear my favorite legends in deteriorated states. see also: ghostface.

    wayne's greatness is a point of consensus for everyone except hyper-conservatives, card-carrying backpackers, and eminem fans.

    timmy, i know you're an "EVERYTHING IS SUBJECTIVE!!!!" type, but this is flat wrong. he's one of the greatest to ever do it, and that's pretty f---ing tough to dispute. dr. carter wouldn't be in his top 100 songs.

    first of all, that's not true. wayne is widely and consistently cited in exactly those discussions. second, he should be. at his peak, he's one of the greatest rappers to ever live. i would put this on the shortlist for "best verses of the 2000s":
