Jul 6, 2015Replacement Girl got featured on BET in like 07 I think. He recorded over Man of the Year, originally a Wayne song, and Wayne was given some of his music from Jas Prince, and invited him on tour not too long after that. During that time, they recorded Ransom and Brand New. He came out with So Far Gone in 09, and Best I Ever Had and Successful helped make the tape his breakthrough to the mainstream. There was a well popularized bidding war to sign him after that, but he eventually signed with Young Money. Thank Me Later came out in 2010, and was and still is a very underrated project. He followed that up with Dreams Money Can Buy and Marvin's Room in 2011, dropping Take Care later that year. The rest, as they say, is history.
