@MTY it's totally up to you, but might as well judge the tapes and pick a winner for those that participated. Most have probably forgot about this, but for myself and for some guys it's a bummer spending time creating a tape not for it to be judged.

I'm positive either myself or someone will revive this next month. Instead of wanting judges, everyone who participates should be a judge and listen to tapes submitted by others. Also, deadline should be shortened. Start it at the 1st of the month and hold a 2 week limit to submit. 3rd week for the judges to listen and pick their winners that will be announced in the 4th week. I know for me, submitting a tape at the start then waiting till the next month for a result made me forget about this thread.

Here it is. This was a little harder than June's 'Summer' theme, but I managed it. Some of the songs on this playlist and those that were cut are personal (some too personal to add) so it was a hard time putting this together reliving memories. Mixtape is split into 2 parts: Love Found is all about the beginning of love, falling into love and planning for the future. Love Lost is about losing everything, coming to grips with changes and moving on.

Instead of picking one winner, I've decided 3, but for different reasons:

TAPE I COULD PROBABLY SHOW MY GRANDPARENTS - NOIR SUMMER: IT'S COOLER IN THE SHADOWS (Bleed)



This mix by @Bleed is a great mixture of classic soul, R&B, and jazz, along with some modern tunes inspired by those genres. Wonderful mix!

TAPE THAT MADE MOST NOSTALGIC FOR A PLACE I'VE NEVER BEEN: DOG DAYS IN THE DREG (SuckedMartysDick/TheOddPope)



Relatively new member @SuckedMartysDick (he ain't new to me) came through with a great mix of noise rock/punk rock tunes that really makes me want to hang out at a dirty part of an LA beach smoking some weed. Check it out.

Besides the intro, this tape is a great mix by @Radeem of house/electronic music that would either make me a pretty cool dude going into the UK, or a c----. Anyways, great mix, definitely listen to it.

Hey everyone, after a successful first thread, we're coming back again this month to do Mixtape Club. This month, we're going with the theme of love. This theme is pretty broad as it's not just talking about the happy aspects of love (relationships, family members, etc.), it's also about the sad/bad aspects (heartbreak, betrayal, etc.). So you can make a mixtape for your love or one to get over him/her, it's your choice. Anyways, the rules:

-Go solo or have teams of 2 or more, it's your choice
-10 track limit
-Mixtapes due by 8/1
-No music made by yourself
-Put together the tracks in iTunes, YouTube, Spotify, etc.
-Need to have an album cover + team name or solo name
