@CoCo kanye is a giant baby -- a great artist, but clearly has impulse control problems. thats not acceptable in daily life. fortunately for kanye, he's famous so his antics come off as entertainment. slash he appeals to a certain breed of fan who is capable of rationalizing his outbursts as part of some larger performance art scheme

I thought this was just Kanye's go-to move to add dramatic effect. Like typical rockstars and s--- that swing a guitar over their head and smash it on the floor.
If it's just Kanye being mad, well I can kinda understand. The only things in life that piss me off are small things. Things so small, you'd have to be some kind of monumental r----- to f--- it up.
An example, someone finishes a can of coke and puts the empty can on the floor of my room. Like, mother f---er you are capable of bringing that s--- in here and drinking it, you are capable of putting it in the bin you useless c----.
Like if a team of what I would assume to be around 300 members can set up a stage, lighting, sound, effects, props, stage effects etc etc and something that big too, they should be able to get a mic that works fine for a few hours. Maybe more than 1 in case it f---s out.
You also gotta remember Kanye is going up in front of thousands of people, if he makes a mistake that's embarrassing for him. But if his mic cuts out and he can't perform, he's just standing there doing nothing and feeling awkward. I don't understand why someone wasn't like "oh s---, his mic is f---ing out, go run this new one up to him" -

If you're not respecting the artist on the stage, the artist has the right to walk off.
It was an honest moment. That means it was the right thing to do.
Larry David walks off a comedy stage 50 years ago and people still give props for it. Kanye does it and he's a "baby." Stop taking everything so seriously. Not everything that happens needs to be nice and make everyone feel good. Interesting moments are good, too.
He's a nexus of novelty exploding right in front of the whole world. Let him let his colors burst, you know?Last edited: Jul 27, 2015x326, gorealsteady, Ordinary Joel and 4 others like this. -

One time I picked Narsh up outside Copley Square, which is right near where the Marathon bombs went off. He was drunk and crying. (i had just dropped by gf off at the airport, so I was on my way home anyway... when i answered, i could tell he was upset, so i wanted to be helpful) I can't remember a lot of what he said that night besides the fact he said he rly wanted to be @WPG. he then tried to kiss me.Ordinary Joel, Meero, Mike Tyson and 4 others like this. -

It has nothing to do with your "posting style" and everything to do with how you're treating members here. This forum wouldn't be the same without classic Narshisms and quadruple posts and I'm not (nor would I ever) ask you to change who you are. There's nothing wrong with thinking you're correct (why debate if you didn't?) and I honestly share a lot of opinions with you regarding contemporary music, but when you choose to attack people and refuse to engage them civilly it doesn't make it very fun to debate you. You're a smart guy with lots of thoughts and opinions to share, so I'd love to be able to have a discussion with you without you going 0-100 sihma real quick on the defensive scale.
You say posting on an online forum isn't important to you, but you have nearly 13,000 posts. Don't give me that crap about how it takes zero time to post from your phone, we all know smartphones make it easy to post on the go because we all do it. You still post here every day (as do I, as do teenagers, as do members with wives and kids), so it obviously matters to you somewhat. I honestly attribute a solid portion of my writing skill to posting on forums and debating with people—@WPG gets paid to do what he does here/on SL in a formal setting. I just don't understand how people can spend so much time here and claim they don't care about it because "it's just a forum." Yeah, obviously there are lots of things in your life more important than sxn80—but don't try to front like you wouldn't care if it was gone.
You know you mah dawg narsh, but when you respond like you did to what I said, it just acts as proof to what people are saying to you.Ordinary Joel, Joshua Smoses, Mike Tyson and 2 others like this. -

This was a "f--- you" to the organisation of this event, not the fans. If they can't be professional and run this without problems, why should Ye and the fans s--- it up? Kanye is there to perform, they f--- up, Kanye doesn't like it (and I'm pretty sure that the fans had higher expectations for a show like this), show's over, end of story. Some of you sound ridiculous.Ordinary Joel, DKC, Radeem and 2 others like this.Nov 26, 2025(This ad goes away when signing up) -

If I'm being honest @Narsh a lot of times I refrain from arguing with you because you lose sight of what you were actually arguing and become more concerned with being right than the actual argument. I understand that you rightfully get pissed when people insult artists you like and don't give them a chance (this forum is bad about that w/ young thug) and it's very irritating when people use ad hominem rather than discussing the actual music, but a lot of the time you end up doing the same thing. It makes it not fun to argue with you when there's no inkling of a doubt in your mind that you're wrong and you insult anyone who disagrees. Multiple people here are telling you this, and rather than listening or having a discussion with them, you become more defensive. I love you Narsh, you're one of my favorite people at this forum, but you definitely need to tone it down a lil bit.Ordinary Joel, Mike Tyson, Joshua Smoses and 2 others like this.
