Let's make a strong distinction: there's a massive difference between
1) Taking someone else's work and passing it off as your own (even if that person agrees to it because you've paid him money under the table/are employing him in another capacty/he's just happy to be part of your entourage etc etc)
2) Getting someone to write for you and including his name in your album credits
The former is snake s--- done by artists who aren't confident in their writing ability...the latter is an honest business transaction.ozy, Michael Myers, Meero and 2 others like this. -

if they're credited, regardless of whether im aware of it or not, then i dont care
the initial shock of learning like "oh man x artist had contributors for y song" fades pretty quickly as making a song is a collaborative effort to begin with. but if it was a big scandal where x artist had numerous songs written by other artists who've never been credited, then yeah id careMeero, Enigma and Mike Tyson like this.
