    Suggestion for group tagging, when you get a notification for when someone tags the group can it say "tagged your group" instead of "tagged you"?

    I agree with the op, even though I haven't been bothered by excessive tags.. it makes sense if users could create groups themselves.

    Ex.: Lasik releases a new song, posts the soundcloud, and then "add yourself to @lasikmusic if you want to be notified in the future."
    Ex. 2: Poohdini posts a Drake elimination game, then "add yourself to @drakegame if you want to be notified for each round of the game."

    This way you're subscribing to a very specific group, ie. @kanyenews, @youngthugfashion, @drakegame

    etc etc.

    Can we have a Drake group that isn't going to get tagged for every f---ing discussion. I joined a few groups expecting news but instead I get a s--- load of notifications for dumb a--- s--- like survival games every day.

    Its super frustrating when I want to respond to threads I am active in rather than have to deal with 9 notifications with maybe 1 or 2 that are actually relevant Im going to post perfect example of the s--- I am talking about

    Thats example of s--- that ruins the mod.

    Heres an example of the mod done correctly

    While these games can be cool for the most part its not s--- I imagine people wanting notifications for. If you want toppled these games don't tag the group and just create your own mini list. When there is too many notifications they kinda do the reverse of their intent so It should be avoided.

    Sorry to everyone who was tagged and mislead by this thread I really do hope this is the last of this.

    Yeah me and @Radeem pointed this out as well. But it's not that easy I guess. Group feature is really great if it's used well and not for random discussions (like 'is YT attractive' lol). But it doesn't happen that much except for a few posters.

    I also thought it was just for news/new music, and it seems that @Koolo etc do their best to make sure it's used the way they intended it

    I don't abuse the tag mod though. I use it in the creative section, along with my previous mention list, as to include the people who aren't part of the CreativeSXN tag but have shown interest in the past (likes, comments, etc.)

    there's some overlap but AFAIK there's no way for me to know of the overlap in mentions. I'll cut back on using it if it's a problem.

    Ppl act like i can just make mods everyday... ppl will always abuse stuff.. i have no idea why @LasiK tag half the forum but im not gonna edit this mod any time soon

    Introducing a group for games might be good i dunno
