your lack of business sense doesn't give you the moral high ground. i can and will do things for free--if i really want to support an artist or small publication--but yeah, if i'm doing an interview with a Grammy winner or reviewing an album on camera, i'm invoicing. welcome to the real world, the games f----- up, i ain't got no etc etc etc

I want to start adding more content soon to the S80 YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCh4U6q5jPVQCUufhy1EIxXA), so this is going to be initiative to add more content. I want to do some album discussions with members here, so I think a perfect first one to do would be one for Rodeo since it's the most hyped album right now on this forum. So, if you're interested, I'm going to need a few things:

• Good microphone, so if you're unsure if your microphone is good, just PM me a vocal sample
• A webcam isn't necessary, but it's appreciated
• Some experience in making content of this nature (journalistic experience, making YouTube videos, etc.)

Additionally, I don't want this to be a Rodeo circlejerk, so I am willing to take on any applicants, no matter the opinion on Rodeo.

I'm looking to do this discussion this Saturday, so if you want to be apart of this, tell me and I'll PM you so I can get your e-mail address as we'll be talking about the album via Google Hangouts.

If you really think you should get paid to be in a Skype call with random teenagers/young adults for a half an hour at the most, you're a moron.

When I had Anthony Fantano on my podcast two months ago, did he asked to be paid? No, because sometimes doing some volunteer s--- like this would be fun every once and a while. And I'm already getting paid to do journalism, so I do my podcast and hopefully s--- like this for fun and to add more for the community.

i would absolutely go on someone's radio show/podcast for free--i do it a lot, actually. but if i'm being asked to do an on-air review of something for a brand that frankly isn't a great look, that's a different thing.
