What does your job give you?

    Other than the obvious (money) what does your job give you? Are you following your passion or are you doing it for a certain purpose?

    My job is as a DJ and the reason why I do this is not only the love of music but it's also the people who experience it and enjoy it. I spent a lot of my time growing up wanting to do something with my life but my childhood was pretty bad and I had to deal with a lot which made my ambitions seem like it was too much of a hurdle to cross but I finally managed to get to a point in my life where I used all the negative s--- to my advantage and to use it as a motivation to achieve my goals.

    Absolutely f---in nothing and I just found out were probably going under in a month so work-wise I'm not too positive at all.

    Thought this was gonna be about the benefits you get from your company but I was wrong.

    Anyways I get to talk to people from all over the world throughout the day so that's pretty cool, I enjoy it. I also get to drive and test out all the new cars and see what they're like. I wasn't really much of a car guy before I got this job but I'm definitely becoming one. We also get free gifts every now and then since customers drop stuff off that they can't take back since they're flying out, people drop off free beer all the time since the breweries are pretty popular here in Portland. Other stuff too, it's a pretty cool job. The managers also order us pizza and give out energy drinks sometimes.
