Imo,

First one: when i was a kid and I'd go to my grandmas, sometimes she'd let me sleep in her bed and when i woke up I'd see the sun shining through the curtains and make the curtains look like scary faces (idk how to describe the pattern) even tho it really didn't look like it upon closer inspection. I wonder if this could have been what happened to you. For all we know you could have been looking at the wallpaper and thought you saw what looked like a man and wanted to share this with your mom

Second one: some ghost tours hire dudes to do creepy s--- like that to make it seem legit and make others want to go

Third one: sleep paralysis. You can feel completely awake and have it, and sometimes have a bit of control over you body, so it seems real af

My friends grandma died in her house, and numerous people have reported seeing her or other things to justify ghost presence. I'm obv very skeptical myself, but i think this Halloween we're gonna spend the night in her house.

• My mom works in a school that's somewhat haunted. A long time ago a retired 2nd grade teacher saw a little boy playing in one of the other 2nd grade teachers room at like 8 at night. She was the only one in the building aside from the night custodial staff.

• Another story from the school is that the custodians clean the 2nd grade hallway first because apparently it is the most active hallway at night. 2 of the custodians swear on it that they've seen and heard multiple people talking, whether it was an adult to another adult or a teacher teaching a class room. It's weird because now I know why they cleaned the rooms and hallway right after the school lets out.

• Last one about the school before I move onto my house is that my mom, who coincidentally happens to be a 2nd grade teacher, experienced something last week. The school had an assembly and the way it was set up was that only the 2nd grade teachers were the only group of teachers that stayed back in the school (along with the other staff) so the other hallways were empty. My mom had to get papers from the 5th grade hallway so she goes down there and does her business. When she's getting ready to leave she hears what sounds like two teachers talking in a room. Wondering why that these teachers weren't at the assembly watching their class she goes to the room to find no one there. She booked it from there and hasn't told anyone except the teacher that teaches in that room.

• Now onto my house. I live in a pretty big two story house that you know, gets pretty freaky when you're home alone. This happened 2 days ago to me while I was chilling on the couch in the living room. I was there minding my business when I heard 4 distinct knocks on a window that leads to the backyard. Now being a Mexican, I went straight to find some holy water and grabbed my step - dad's unloaded double barrel all the while my dogs were going hysterical with the barking. So I open the back door and let my dogs go out first (f--- you, i'd rather my dogs die before I die) and I checked around the back yard with the gun aimed like I was gonna s---t. No one was there which freaked my out even more cause it's like, I heard these loud a--- knocks who tf could it be.

I got a bit more but I'm not gonna tell em now, doing homework. Will tell em tho if anyone is interested

I'm leaning towards that it was sleep paralysis, because....... I literally just had one. It's the morning here just woke up and yeah I felt paralyzed. My left side of my neck start to tense, then boom! I saw it right infront of my face. I had my cat sleeping on my right arm so I felt safe.

They say these things happen from exhaustion, I've been doing a lot of physical activity recently so this could be the reason why I'm getting it.

However, this felt different to what I saw the other night, when I saw that thing at my door I didn't feel paralyzed at all and was able to close my eyes when I wanted to.

f--- it, I'll tell them now and just keep it as short as possible (there's a lot of details to effectively tell the stories).

• Had some stuff occur at my house but it's a really long story and it was nothing too significant so I won't even go into that.

• Didn't believe in Ouija Boards (since almost every time it's just people messing around) but this experience was crazy and changed my mind about them: My brothers, cousins, aunt and I used one at our cousin's house years ago (at the time they lived right next to a famous battle ground from the civil war so we thought it was a good place to try it out), and we were writing down everything it said. My brother Bradley and my aunt were using the board and it kept spelling out "Bradley Beware" and they would ask "Beware of what?" and it would spell out random letters and numbers over and over. Then my brother got a phone call from his friend, so he got up and left the room to talk and I took his place using the board with my aunt. It spelt out a random word, thought it could be a different language but didn't really know. Bradley got off the phone and came back in the room and asked why we wrote down *the random word* on the paper. Turns out it was the last name of the friend he was just on the phone with (neither my aunt nor I knew his friend's last name, nor did we know at the time that he was the one who was on the phone with my brother in the first place). So my brother calls his friend back and explains the situation and asks if those random letters and numbers it was spelling out meant anything to him. Turns out that was his friends license plate. The next day that friend got in a car accident that totaled his car.

• A few years ago I went with my girlfriend to her cousin's wedding. The wedding was being held at The "Old" Cavalier, a famous hotel at the oceanfront (no longer in service) that is said to be extremely haunted. Adolph Coors (founder of Coors beer) actually committed suicide there when he jumped from a hotel window on the 6th floor. There have reportedly been quite a few other deaths there and there have been tons of ghost tales about the place. Anyways, from hearing all this my girlfriend and I obviously wanted to go look around the place. I honestly wasn't expecting anything to happen because it seems like nothing ever actually does happen when you're out looking for it, but I was wrong. The wedding party rented out the 1st floor and an additional room on the 2nd floor. The rest of the hotel was shut down/not in use. My girlfriend and I took the elevator to the 6th floor (supposedly where most of the strange occurrences occur) and took a look around. It was freaky but as I was expecting nothing happened, that is until we got in the elevator to go back down. We hit the first floor button and the elevator door closes, but immediately opens back up as if someone had just missed the elevator and pressed the button on the outside, therefore reopening to allow them entry. The thing is that the whole floor was completely empty of people besides us. Could be a coincidence with faulty wiring or whatever I know, but of course that peaked our interest. So later on we went back up and explored the floor some more, when my girlfriend snapped a selfie (close up of it below). It wasn't until later that her sister discovered something in it (look in the mirror behind us at the end of the hallway). It was only us two on the entire floor, and obviously just us two in the photo, but there is a dark figure behind us in the mirror. s--- is still freaky to me.
