Sorry you feel/felt that way.
Whenever I read about someone bashing MMLP2, I question myself: why do I even like it? And then I go back and listen to it, and all doubts go away. Dope album. DOPE.Mar 7, 2026(This ad goes away when signing up) -

Well after Recovery came out and Em promised "he'd never let the fans down again" I believed him. To me Recovery, it's surrounding features, and the BME EP were all nearly flawless. He had some subpar features in 2012-13 but I thought to myself "no big deal, we'll see his A game again when he releases his own solo material" Then MMLP2 happened. I remember when it leaked on Rap Basement. I literally locked myself in my apartment alone and listened to it straight through. By the time I got half way through So Far I started punching my computer desk and tearing up. That's when I realized the album was nowhere near Recovery and he had indeed... let me down again.
That was my most frustrating moment, but my most embarrassing moment was watching the 2009 MTV Awards with my girlfriend shortly after Eminem's comeback. I was watching it strictly because I knew he was performing live. He used to be a staple on these shows and this was his first live performance at one in five years. I was so hyped. But then Em comes out, wearing his Kangol train conductor hat (first time I ever saw him wear it) and performs We Made You and Crack A Bottle, the two worst, and most embarrassing singles of his career. Midway through the performance my girl says "I don't know why you still listen to this s---" Stormed out of the room and slammed the door. I slept alone on the couch that night.
