Honestly, I sorta am...I mean dealing with people calling TPAB trash is hard enough. But you know what, I will answer your question. I was wrong on the time part, I mean't effort. Cuz like, MMLP was done in 6 months vs MMLP2 which was done in 2 years and we know which one is better. Like for example, Wayne obviously put more effort in Tha Carter III vs. IV and III was obviously better, because you could tell he was really into what he was doing, and doing it for more then a paycheck. Young Thug dropped "Slime Season" last month, and is dropping 2 on Halloween. Maybe he just lives in the studio, but idk is he releasing these projects so quickly to capitalize off of his success, or is he actually doing it because he wants to make great pieces of work and cuz he love music? And Kendrick did something totally different with TPAB, and lost 25% percent of his audience doing it, but I think he did it right. Production wise, it was crazy. It put him on a higher level in my opinion because he did something totally out of the box, and it came out a very unique, successful project. You don't hear that s--- everyday in hip-hop. Young Thug, Future, Migos sound...thats the hot thing out right now. That's the s--- people at parties, people commenting on "Hotnewhiphop.com" go crazy for. That's the s--- I turn up to at parties. But now me and i'm sure quite a few others as well, are looking for something different, something that doesn't feel slightly redundent. That "trap" sound, that Londononthetrack, Mike Will Made It, Southside, TM88 sound is getting boring to me, we need something new eventually. I expect to be called an "idiot", but that's just me airing out my thoughts.YiT, Translucent, Maximus and 1 other person like this. -

Yo, yo. King Kendrick dominates it again. Like...I get it if you love Thugger or Future, I respect that. But to say what they doing is on a greater level then what Kendrick has been doing since Section.80? That boggles my mind. This dude doesn't just drop a mixtape every month with a shitload of trap beats, he takes his time with his work, and makes it as good as possible. He reminds me alot of Kanye in the sense that he just keeps evolving in everything he puts out. TPAB may not have been your favorite, but I think that's what he was aiming for. To grow not only as a rapper, but an overall artist. He isn't the hottest rapper out, but in my opinion new school wise, he is the greatest. We don't just want him, we need him.
