it's cause "poof" is short/slang for "poofter" which is a derogatory term for h----------s. Eminem and Proof were boyfriends before he passed away and that's why it affected Eminem so much.

This is actually a little hint towards Em and Poof's secret relationship.

On August 31, 2006 Eminem and Nike designed Air Max shoes for ''The Marshall Mathers Foundation'' and had a eBay page where people could bid on them for charity.
There was only made 8 shoes of each style, and on the #8 Pair, He misspelled Proof's name ''Poof''

The fact it says "Big Poof" too is even more evidence.
It's like an 'easter egg'.

The hip-hop world back then wouldn't of accepted a h----------/a h---------- couple rapping. So Eminem and Poof had to be sneaky. So when Eminem signed this, he thought about his love for his boyfriend and how he couldn't tell the world. So he wrote "Big Poof" to signify the jokey nature of he and Poof's h---------- relationship. Eminem always uses "derrogatory" h---------- terms like "fa----". So him calling his boyfriend "Big Poof" is like him pretty much saying he loves Proof.
