I can't listen to music that is essentially lyrically cause I don't understand what a rapper says.
It's like if you were listening to french lyrical rap, it can be fantastic but you'll never get it.

I loved the tracks on good kid/maad city because of the production/flow, but for the same reasons as I just said I'll never get TPAB.

Altough I love good lyrics because after 6-7 listens I start to get them when they aren't too hard, but I'll never listen with attention 6-7 times to a track that I don't like.

Anyway don't worry for me, when I want something lyrical I just listen to french rappers, we got good stuff at the other side of the Atlantic too.

It's an absolute must man. The production is one of a kind. All done by Warren himself.

Maybe you could read the lyrics from Rap Genius or another lyric website whilst listening to the music so that you can follow what the rappers are saying more easily.

I think that good lyricists need to be complemented by good delivery and energy to be honest. And some rappers like Lupe fiasco overdo it sometimes with the lyrics

That's what I do with rappers I like, if they have songs I really dig or I like the vibe I usually go on rap genius.
