Nov 16, 2015 i don't know if kendrick is there yet. good kid, m.A.A.d. city is great, and one of the best albums of this half-decade so far. but there are plenty of rappers who have an album that good and have done more beyond that. when i say "plenty," i just mean that you hit twenty faster than you'd think. like, how do you rank him above quik?
Nov 16, 2015 I'll take the songs from the C3 sessions over just about everything but my only I guess criticism of Weezy's career is he was always close to making that magnum opus but it just never manifested, exceptional catalogue notwithstanding.

He is one of my favs but with his short discography Idk maybe 2pac, Jay-Z or Eminem would have been a better fit even though both Jay & Em has lows in their discographies. EDIT: I think Kendrick should've been ranked lower than Wayne btw. There is still time for Kendrick to surpass Wayne...
