Doesn't having a prisoner on death row cost more than not?
It's a tough call because you do see stories of people who were found innocent after decades of being in prison, there is still too high a risk of ending the life of people who have been wrongly accused.

Not sure.. I mean they have to be 100% sure. You can't undo it if it's the wrong person. And also, letting someone die kind of lets them get 'away' with it easily, even if they deserve to die. Spending years in prison could be more effective for punishment. But yeah it costs more, so in that case I would agree some could get it.Guma, Ordinary Joel and Ricky like this. -

I am for. There is no need to keep some psychos in prisons, when they can be still dangerous after they finally get out.
