Production, mixing and lyrics on MMLP have been done to perfection. MMLP2 is mediocre with a few gems. The production on MMLP2 leaves wanting and I feel he could have done a more cohesive album with a more focused sound.
For example, what if he went in the direction of Bad Guy, Evil Twin, Brainless? An album like that would have a dark presence, shrouded in villainy and with shades of Slim Shady. I feel Survival, Berzerk and Stronger Than I Was took away from the album. They're either fun, party or crappy which takes away from that dark edginess. I think The Monster should have been on the deluxe edition and especially Survival. These song placements take away from MMLP2 and stopped it from what was going to be a good B+ album to a C+/B-
