    It's not just rappers. Justin Vernon uses autotune.

    I reject the idea that anyone is to "blame" for it. Autotune can be great.

    Kanye West did it so well on 808s & Heartbreak and these artists still are trying to match it (and are failing miserably).

    autotune definitely added to the feel of 808s. it can be good if used in the right ways

    Tbh, Lollipop is probably just as big a factor as anything Kanye ever did. Wayne was using it before him as well I believe.
