Dec 4, 2015You think he should beef with real artists? What if real artists respect him and are on good terms with him and there's no reason to beef?
They should beef because that would be entertaining to you?

s---, Rick Ross called him out a couple years back and EM didn't do s---. I bet you if Katy Perry would have called him out he'd be in the studio giving it his all and recording diss tracks.Mothrfckr, boyz n the suburbs, CallMeSas and 4 others like this. -

Can we admit Eminem is weak? Can't deny his diss tracks are dope. s---, The Sauce is heavily underated imo, that s--- is straight fire.
Thing is, we've never really seen EM beef with someone of his calibure. He's had different beefs and in all these beefs the only ''relevant'' artist at the time was Ja Rule. And it's not like Ja was anywhere near close to being as big as Eminem. And lets be real, even with the whole Shady crew and prime 50 Cent involved in that beef, he seemed pretty shook after that it was over.
The Warning was great and brought us right back to the great old EM we were used too. The diss was great. But let's be honest, it's pretty pathetic when you think about who it was aimed at and why it was made. Eminem made a song denigrating Mariah Carey on Relapse, mentionned her name multiple times. Later, Mariah Carey made a pop song talking about someone obsessed with her, not even mentionning Eminem a single time (And it's not like he hadn't asked for it anyway) and the dude goes ape s---. What we got as a result was dope, but can't lie, it's pretty pathetic.
I don't think Eminem would have the guts to take on any hiphop artist of his calibur.

Eminem obviously doesn't and never had the balls to throw the first punch at anyone who's a real threat but I do think before and still now if anyone truly big enough decided to go after him first and said something crossing a line he'd have no problem responding.
When it comes to this Eminem can take care of himself no problem and easily come out on top. Only here on SL do people think a 43 year old man keeping his life private is awkward because he's not out partying and dating other celebrities acting like he's still in his 20s and wants to have a normal life and be a dad. So no other rapper would really have anything to say to him unless he's buddies with someone here. -

I agree bro. I believe that Eminem's the best lyrically. he's number 1, his shouting flow gave me goosebumps he's so good, his flow is impeccable, just the number 1 lyricist no question. name one person who could body em on a track? lmao u cant! that's right because he's number 1 hands down!!! if you don't agree, you're not a real rap fan and you probably like lil wayne LOL...(BTW they did a song together, and Em actually subliminally dissed wayne, cause hes so dumb LOL!!)Skippy, Macca, threee and 1 other person like this.Nov 18, 2025(This ad goes away when signing up) -

Eminem has the guts to go at anyone. But there is no reason for him to diss anybody. What did Ross say actually ? As for Mariah, it was kinda must. Because Mariah was so famous. Everybody saw the Obsessed video on MTV and channels. He answered like he should've. There was a point to prove. He did that. As for Ross, I highly doubt he heard the guy talkin' s--- and even tho he knew he didn't have to prove himself as a rapper at this point. Mariah thing was slightly diffferent than other beefs he had.Tal, Jerome, Ndray and 1 other person like this. -

I hear ya. I can totally see why people hated the accent but when done right, it adds a level of technicality that makes the verse even better. Unfortunately he relied on the accent wayyyy too much and it got tiresome. He should have used them sparingly and sporadically because when done right, they can be mind blowing verses.
While I love the over technical rhymes, I've been listening to older stuff lately and it would be a welcomed change of pace if he dumbed them down just a little and get back to creating pictures and visions of what's he's rapping about. Dumb it down just a little and smooth it out. Do a little layering and he's back in that sweet spot again.Last edited: Dec 10, 2016Nov 18, 2025(This ad goes away when signing up) -

I think it has a lot to do with Em not wanting to give the ones that diss him attention. For example, at the 2013 EMAs when asked about Afrojack who had been talking s--- Em responded with "Who?". Here's a video of it:wack_rhymes, DMX and Thirsty Bastard like this. - Nov 18, 2025
