Dec 4, 2015Nah, I still stand by the fact that this is one of Eminem's greatest standout features. A rare glimpse at what could have been.
Could Forever actually be Eminem's greatest feature verse? Just from context: He's back from his hiatus, finally delivering a classic verse (and without accents), up against the likes of Drake, Kanye, and Wayne whom he admittedly wrote diss tracks against.
Then his talent slowly faded back into obscurity like Benjamin Button in reverse

Em was great on Forever but Wayne won that song IMO.
Maybe not better, but it might be the most important feature verse of his career because of the context JFK alluded to.Ordinary Joel, Views, Michael Myers and 2 others like this. -

My minds shine even when my thoughts seem dark,
Pistol on my side you don't wanna hear that thing talk,
Let the king talk check the price and pay attention,
Lil Wayne that's what they got to say or mention,
I'm like Nevada in the middle of the summer,
I'm resting in the lead I need a pillow and a cover,
Shh, my foot's sleeping on the gas,
No brake pads no such thing as last
I love these lines tbh. More than Drake's verse. But I agree those 2 are pretty closeasvdawg, Views, Mike Tyson and 1 other person like this. -

I agree depending on your criteria, but his performance (flow and delivery) was undeniably great. If that's enough to counterbalance the fact that he really said nothing in that verse, then you're not wrong in praising it.
Idk, it depends on how you look at it I guess.Ordinary Joel, Michael Myers and JFK like this. -
