Dec 5, 2015 I actually have this on DVD somewhere. I think it was a bonus feature on 8 Mile or something. Good video.
Dec 6, 2015 The Monster video was a real suprise when it came out. Probably one of his best music videos. Too bad the song was medicore at best.
Dec 6, 2015 Man, when i saw those flash backs in The Monster video Dude looked exactly the same that he did over a decade ago when he was dressed as he was in 8 mile/Lose Yourself, The Way I Am and the live Stan performance
Dec 6, 2015 I can't watch The Monster video, I get too annoyed by the music and even if I muted it, I wouldn't have the attention span to watch all of the video with no music.
Dec 6, 2015 I remember I couldn't tell if it was actual old footage of the Stan performance or a reenactment. The only difference was I noticed he had the Proof tat on his left arm. Anybody that thinks Eminem looks "old" needs to watch this video. Dude looks great for his age.
Dec 6, 2015 I think they CG the s--- out of his face .. I mean, look at Michael Douglas at the start of Antman. Dude is like 70+ but they had him looking 30.
Dec 6, 2015 When I'm Gone, Stan and The Monster are a few of my favourites. Eminem has a whole stack of great videos.
Dec 6, 2015 "Sing For The Moment" has always been my favorite video. First listen on TES it was immediately my favorite Eminem song. I kept hoping to no avail he'd drop a video for it; it really looked like he wouldn't after 'Superman' was released as bonus 4th video on '8 Mile' DVD (the catchy album promo formula in early 2000's always was to push three big singles, no more). However, SFTM video finally came out a whole year after TES originally dropped.. I'll never forget first seeing the video (~2 AM on a Sunday morning after working at a bar all the night before and stanspazzed cheahchehahchea) Although the video was only really old flashback clips and him in a room rapping with that green Jordan gear... The footage and overall vibe of the song/video felt like an immediate time capsule of the original GOAT right before the initial falloff.. "Seize The Moment" had been my basketball team's slogan/motto the winter before TES dropped and the video did just that for me chehachehahhea The end of the 3rd verse, the yelling "CMON" etc over the hook.. I remember a magazine interview early summer 2002 where he said grew dreaming of becoming a big rapper to sample that specific song (Aerosmith "Dream On").. In said interview went as far as to say SFTM was his personal career highlight to that point There are definitely "better" videos such as Spacebound or Stan, Guilty Conscience or Love The Way You Lie or 3 AM, or even Headlights.. I know people hate on Headlights but the video's purpose was to re-tell his whole career through his mom's eyes; it's his most personal work to date imo.. Despite his perceived ineptitude within the song itself, the Headlights video is amazing for what it is in my humbled slayar opinion cheah praise and thanks to the Lord our savior old school Marshall the archbishop Paul and hear ye all we latter day stans cheahhceahcheah
