Dec 23, 2015 I prefer money girls clothes rap lyrics because it makes me feel like I'm on top of the world and like I'm immortal. I listen to both though. The word lyrical is fictitious and you can't even define it. What does it mean? The song has lyrics? Just because something isn't socially conscious doesn't mean it isn't "lyrical". Just look at Lil Wayne, his wordplay, entendres, figurative language and all other elements of his raps are top notch and he usually doesn't rap about socially conscious topics.

But I guess it depends on what you're looking for. Are you looking for more lyrical word play? Or just anthems? You can make an anthem like club b-----r about success or the struggle same with a conscious song about each. All depends on what you're looking for/enjoy listening to.
