Dec 24, 2015 I think there is a lot of problems, the world will never be perfect and everyone will have issues with something.. but shutting down an airport or mall is not gonna help anything. if i was a racist then i would just end up more racist because of this.. its doing more harm then good.
Dec 24, 2015 pretty shocking how many people are unfamiliar with civil disobedience. Not just here but on all types of social media I see people claiming, "what does this accomplish?" And I'm just like uhhh.... Have you read anything about the civil rights era? I even got into an argument with someone who claimed civil disobedience "isn't right" regardless of the purpose behind it.

Dec 24, 2015 Pretty pretentious of you and WPG to assume people don't know history just because they don't think this is the right way of going about things. Sure some people aren't aware, but a good amount of people are. Just because it's worked in the past doesn't mean I think it's the right thing to do now. I'm all for these protests, the mall, Baltimore, etc. This however came off to me as them having hate in their hearts and trying to disrupt another's Christmas. As they should have some hate for the way their people are treated, but potentially taking it out on supporters that are white or kids who do not know any better is just wrong to me. I wasn't saying this type of thing cant work, it has in the past. I was just saying I don't find this instance as the right way to do it. Edit: no I don't think it's terrorism like jmg
Dec 24, 2015 I see so many happy black people around my town enjoying Christmas. There is a good life for anyone out there and if you don't cause trouble you wont ever have to look at a cop, no matter what color you are.
