    I was 16, so I didn't really realize the weight of it at the time, but they were great. No live band or anything but it still blew my teenage mind.

    f---, come to think of it, I paid $70 for a two day pass to Bumbershoot to see Tribe, Kanye, and a bunch of other stuff that year! So f---ing cheap. It was during Kanye's Late Orchestration tour and he brought out Lupe for Touch the Sky (this was before Lupe's debut even dropped). 16 year old me had no idea how dope that was at the time.

    This song is super gutter in terms of the lyrics and content but the bassline is magnificent. As a matter of fact Black Moon's "Enta Da Stage" album has amazing basslines throughout most of it's songs. It's worth checking out if you haven't already.
